utterless…

Friday, September 15, 2006

out of confusion..and in an attempt to make myself feel better..i wrote this poem…

In life there are laughters and tears…
Sadness that tears us apart, sane or not…

He who says that man can live on bread alone…
Every other person doesn't think so…

Living in a lie, letting yourself lie…
Empathy from you…
To believe or not…
To see or not…
I know you need time…
Not crumbling outside, yet numb and dumb inside…
Giving up is so easy, yet so painful…

Go..
Only if you think the time is now…

the marrying kind…

Wednesday, September 13, 2006

i’ve come across this article in a magazine..i find it amusing :)

what makes a man ‘the marrying kind’?

he’s had enough of mad gals
great fun for a roll-in-the-hay or a passionate couple of months, but after a while he might just long for a bit of cosy peace and quiet…

he’s suffering from dating fatigue
dating can get very dull..having to go through the whole rigmarole again: meet someone..get to know them..visit their bedroom..look at their photos..meet their friends..hear all about their family..even MEET the family..give me strength..

he’s losing his looks
he suddenly realizes that he isn’t going to grow old like george clooney…get hitched quick!…

his friends get married and settle down
and he’s left sitting alone in the pub like a saddo…

he’s just turned 30 / 35 / 40
don’t’ underestimate the power of momentous birthday to remind a bloke that youth can’t go on forever and it might be time to get his life sorted…waking up with a hangover the day after his birthday..he will almost certainly be tortured nightmarish visions of himself in 15 years time, unmarried, childless, seated next to a neurotic-looking divorcee at a dinner party…

falling forward…

Saturday, August 26, 2006

don’t feel sorry about yourself when the one you care for turned out to be unworthy of your affection. just keep in mind that maybe God put a few bad people in your life, so when the right one came along you’ll appreciate that person and you’d be thankful. there is a big, beautiful world outside what you have confined yourself to accept your fate and leave your baggage behind always remember that we get hurt for a reason and we make mistakes so we can learn. lucky are those who find love but better are the ones who know how to let go of love when it is not meant for them anymore. . .

everything is beautiful in its own time…

fate is sometimes said not to be kind to those who have towers that have yet to build. .
and as one hole has been filled. .and empty space has been left behind. .
an airless vacuum is all that remains where gentle winds have been. .
nothingness is all that is seen. .
in the emptiness’ pain. .

have you ever had the feeling of doing something wrong, yet you felt that it is so right, for you know that it is your prerogative to follow your heart’s desires?

i do. . .
