collecting stones. . .

 never take for granted every person close to your heart because you might wake up one day and realize that you have lost a diamond because you were too busy collecting stones. . .

im sure most of you got an email with a subject that says "beautiful hearts on valentine's day". .it almost flooded my inbox, and what really caught my interest were the quoted lines. .

love is very special, yet can make you feel so lost. .you must find ways to nurture, and grow you love with care. mistakes are bound to happen. you may hurt each other's heart. yet, you don't give up easily. it will tear your love apart.

looking back gives me confidence to move forward. .learn from all my mistakes (gosh,i think i've said this for the nth time!). loving made me realize a lot of things. .you must, above all else, love yourself. .you can never always be sure if the person you love can give you the respect, care and understanding that you deserve. .people change (in most cases,it's not for the best). .though, walking forward with confidence might take a bit of false bravado at first, but once i get a sense of comfort with my new strut, i'll never be mild again!. .i wanna challenge some of my biggest insecurities, and be proud of my imperfections (they are part of what makes me human). .wish me luck *wink*

last night, i've learned how to defend myself (and i think it's a noble thing to do - which is what my name means) and be honest with people i care about. .it might hurt. .and i think it did. .but as much as i hate to admit it, i really have to face facts and reality sucks!
